High School Play Sponsorship - Potomac Grange sponsored the Bethesda/Chevy Chase High School play.
EarthQuak Relief Effort - The Potomac Grange donated $100.00 to the Red Cross to benefit the New Zealand earthquake relief effort.
M-NCPPC Teen Cotillion Sponsorship - The Potomac Grange proudly supported Antonio Deandre Plummer as a participant of the Maryland National Capitol Park and Planning Commission 2007 Teen Cotillion. The Teen Cotillion is a training program that offers leadership and growth opportunities to support their "debut" as community leaders. Read more.
Legislative Fly-In Scholarship Program - The Potomac Grange #1 provide scholarships yearly to a selected group of participants that attend the Legislative Fly-In. Scholarships cover transportation to Washington D.C., hotel room and some meals. Applicants answer screening questions and then submit an essay stating how their local Grange will benefit from their attendance .
Pentagon Tour - The Potomac Grange will sponsored a tour of the US Pentagon to all the Legislative Fly-in attendees . View Pictures of the Pentagon Tour
See's Candy Fundraiser - The objectives of the fundraiser was to make a charitable contribution of Easter candy to Martha’s Table. The National Grange, on behalf of Potomac Grange #1, purchased twenty-three cases and 66 assorted candy items from See’s.
The Kile Fund matched the funds from each individual order and donated 10 cases and 58 extra items of Easter Candy for Martha Table’s Easter dinner.
Bake Sale - The objective of the fundraiser was to make a a charitable contribution to Martha's Table to feed needy families. Cookie dough, buns, twists, brownies and rolls were sold. A free 1-year membership was obtained with any order of 3 items.
Ice Cream Social - The Potomac Grange held its yearly Ice Cream social with all proceeds benefiting a local charity organization, Healthy Babies. Healthy Babies helps families in need of assistance during the beginning stages pregnancy and infancy.
Vanilla, chocolate and Strawberry ice cream was donated and distributed at the National Grange headquarters by Potomac Grange members. All contributions were donated to Healthy Babies.
